Manifesto

We were here
never here.

Eight lines on what $404 stands for. Short enough to remember, and meant to be argued with.

  1. 01 / 08

    Privacy is normal.

Curtains are not a crime. Neither are sealed envelopes, secret ballots or a wallet that strangers cannot read.

  2. 02 / 08

    Not found is a feature.

On the web, 404 means something was not where you looked. For us it is a goal: leave less behind, everywhere.

  3. 03 / 08

    Your history is yours.

What you earn, spend and save should not be public by default, to everyone, forever.

  4. 04 / 08

    Memes hide truths too.

A joke travels where a lecture never will. We make people laugh first, and then we show them why it matters.

  5. 05 / 08

    Learn before you trust.

No coin, app or person makes you private. Understanding does. That is why the Academy came first.

  6. 06 / 08

    We never dox.

Not rivals, not critics, not anyone. Exposing people is the opposite of everything we stand for.

  7. 07 / 08

    No promises we cannot keep.

No invented numbers, no imaginary partners, no price talk. When something is done, you will be able to check it yourself.

  8. 08 / 08

    Nobody is the face.

The Missing One has no face on purpose. The project belongs to everyone who carries it.
